The posts below comprise the series of posts I wrote as a response to a long report (175 pages) from a study committee on human sexuality commissioned by Synod 2016 of the Christian Reformed Church and now slated to be discussed and decided at Synod 2022. In these six posts, I address the way the committee uses the Bible in their report. It is my hope and prayer that these posts will advance the discussion not only in my denomination but more broadly in the world of those who wish to take the Bible seriously as the Word of God.
